Celestial Zoo Pet Rescue was created in 2018 to service the feline needs of Utah County, a desperate missing link in the goal of No Kill Utah, over the years we have expanded our volunteer base from Utah County to service Salt Lake County, Davis County, Weber County, Cache County, Juab County, and Tooele County. With programs that included adopting out only fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped pets, a Utah County and Salt Lake County Pet Pantry, trap-neuter-return programs partnering with Best Friends, and high medical needs, we believe we have made a difference in not just Utah County, but throughout the Wasatch front. We are a LGBTQIA+ support organization through the labor movement associated with the AFL-CIO. Union jobs provide living wages, insurance, and retirements. We don't need the government to fix it for us. Last Minute Registration: After April 16th

*Fees are paid after application is accepted - sent within 10 days of submission of this application. No payments are made with the application.

Applications will be approved or denied within 10 days in writing sent to the email provided on your application. Acceptance letters will include payment instructions--we request payment be made within 10 days of acceptance (late fees will be assessed).
Example: If you apply on March 15th, we will notify you of approval or denial within two weeks. If approved, you will be required to make payment within 10 days. Prices are based off when you applied, not when you paid. As long as you pay within 10 days of acceptance, your fee would be $80 for a 10x10 booth.
Refund policy: Refunds can be requested through March 31st. After April 1st, no refunds will be given.

Davis County Pride is currently seeking applicants for entertainment to perform at our Shimmer, Shine, & Show Your PRIDE Festival on May 3, 2025 at Layton Commons Park. We are looking for a wide variety of performers including but not limited to:
Solo instrumental or vocal acts
Drag performers or celebrity impersonators
Group acts including dance troupes and cover bands
Poets or story tellers
Buskers of all sorts
Comics
Magicians
All performances must be family friendly and maintain a general audiences or PG13 rating. All music will be approved by a committee and must be sent in advance of the festival for review. Preference is given to artists within Davis County but we accept applications from those within the surrounding area.

Now more than ever, we need to let our brilliance shimmer and shine - and we can't do it without you! Thank you for your interest in joining our 2025 Davis County Pride Festival to be held Saturday, May 3rd at Layton Commons Park.
Here are some details of this year's festival:

Festival Hours: 12 pm to 6 pm (trucks can begin to arrive at 9:00 am)
Location: Layton Commons Park, 437 N Wasatch Dr, Layton, UT 84041
Theme: "Shimmer, Shine, & Show Your Pride!" (think PRIDE Disco ball!)
With the festival scheduled from noon to 6PM there is the potential to catch both lunch and dinner audiences.
In an effort to avoid overlap in menus and have a wide variety of food options we plan to award one food truck from each of the following categories (you will be required to apply under one of these categories):
BBQ & Smoked Meats – Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and smoked chicken with classic sides.
Tacos & Mexican Street Food – Tacos, burritos, elotes, churros, and aguas frescas.
Burgers & Sliders – Gourmet burgers, smash burgers, or unique slider combinations.
Asian Fusion – Korean BBQ, bao buns, sushi burritos, or ramen bowls.
Mediterranean & Middle Eastern – Gyros, falafel, shawarma, and hummus plates.
Pizza & Flatbreads – Wood-fired, Neapolitan, Detroit-style, or creative flatbreads.
Vegan & Plant-Based – Creative meatless options like jackfruit tacos, grain bowls, and dairy-free desserts.
Comfort Food & Soul Food – Fried chicken, mac and cheese, biscuits, and cornbread.
Dessert & Sweets – Ice cream, mini donuts, crepes, or specialty pastries.
Specialty Sodas & Refreshers – Handcrafted sodas, Italian sodas, lemonade variations, boba tea, etc.
Fair & Fried Favorites – Deep-fried Oreos, funnel cakes, corn dogs, fried pickles, fried mac and cheese, etc.
Those of you with a wide menu featuring foods from multiple categories will kindly be asked to scale back your menus to avoid the overlap.
Any exception to the plan above will be made at the sole discretion of the Davis County Pride Board.
Application Details
Applications are open now through March 28th.
Spaces will be awarded no later than April 11th.
$180 Fee due by April 18th.
New for 2025: We will not be asking for profit sharing or meal vouchers. We have increased the fee to participate by $60 and will accept any donations or meal credits that are voluntarily made. We will be providing some of our volunteers a cash stipend to cover all or part of a meal - so you can expect to see some of this fee come back to you.
